When you create an account we collect your email address. When you use the app we collect your saved launch sites, vessel preferences, and trip plans. We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers listed below, strictly to operate the product, and (after your consent) with the analytics and advertising vendors described in section 4.

We use your data to provide personalized boating conditions and go/no-go planning guidance for your saved sites. We use cookies for authentication and session management — and, after your consent, for the analytics and advertising described in section 4.

We aggregate publicly available data from NOAA, NWS, NDBC, and EPA. Our infrastructure is hosted on Vercel and Supabase. Payments are processed by Stripe; when you subscribe, Stripe receives the billing information you enter plus your account identifier. These providers have their own privacy policies.

With your explicit consent, we use usage analytics to understand how the product is used and improve it: Google Analytics 4 (Google) and PostHog (PostHog, Inc., data processed in the US). When you are signed in, consented usage analytics are associated with an internal account identifier — never your name or email address. The same consent also covers advertising when configured: Google AdSense display ads, the Meta Pixel, and Google Ads conversion tags. These tools set cookies/localStorage only after you accept; if you decline, none of them load and no ad is shown. Pro subscribers never see ads inside the signed-in app; public pages such as regulations may show ads to any visitor who accepted consent. Your choice is stored in your browser, so clearing site data re-prompts you. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Analytics & Marketing. Withdrawal stops further analytics capture and ad-fill requests immediately, clears first-party ad cookies, discards the analytics identity, and stops session recording. Already-loaded third-party ad scripts cannot be retroactively unloaded from your browser; clearing site data fully resets them.

When analytics consent is given, PostHog session replay records page interactions to help us improve the product. Replay starts only after consent and stops on withdrawal. Input values are masked, and shared fishing-plan links, account areas, and API paths are excluded from recording — capability-bearing content never reaches recordings.

Independently of that choice, we use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) for error monitoring. Sentry is cookieless, performs no session replay, and scrubs shared-link tokens, query strings, and personal identifiers from error reports; it exists solely to keep the service reliable.

Your account data is retained while your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these choices. We do not sell your personal information.
