familyBASICParrotfish are a clade of beak-mouthed fish in the subfamily Scarinae of the wrasse family, named for their parrot-like beaks. Herbivores and corallivores that play a significant role in bioerosion on reefs.
HABITAT
Coral reefs, rocky coasts, and seagrass beds of tropical seas.
