- Representative south-of-Cape-Falcon ocean rule: Cape Falcon to the Oregon/California border Mar. 15-Aug. 31 (all salmon except coho), then Cape Falcon to Humbug Mountain Sep. 1-Oct. 31 (all salmon except coho, with a separate non-mark-selective coho season). Chinook remains open during the Aug. 19-31 coho-retention closure; quotas and in-season actions may change seasons.
