Ocyurus chrysurus
speciesBASICAn abundant snapper of the western Atlantic including the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean; found as far north as Massachusetts but normally Florida south to Brazil. Mostly found around coral reefs.
HABITAT
Coral reefs and other habitats near the surface to 180 m, mostly 10–70 m.

- No recreational quota stated; fish under 10.5 inches fork length are prohibited and must be returned to sea. · minimum 10.5 inches
- APPLICABILITY
- Article 8.29 states the 10.5-inch LH minimum for colirrubia captured by any method and requires undersized fish to be returned. DRNA's current page still links the 2010 Reglamento 7949; no newer replacement was visible.
